Head Down, just keep paddling…

            Here, sit and let me pour you a coffee…sorry about the early meeting but, I am so swamped right now…there are a few goals in sight so, I am running at the finish line…it has been a challenge…I am happy you could make time for me…

 

    American Boudica is in heavy production at the moment…we are looking for interns and this position is open Globally…if you are interested please message resumes through facebook…we are looking for writers, web design…Florida position for video production…these can turn into staff positions…more news to follow

     Nature’sPower and Energy is working…still no word on the patent…I am looking for tubing that I do not think exists yet…well, should I say that is my next patent…it feels like it…how do I look at Alex and say ‘you know’…and have him not kill me…lots of laughs…we are looking for an affordable 3d printer for project bluebird…

      Girly Pirate Lunch Box, Walking with Pirate Tours, American Boudica Productions and the Vacation Project are on hold at the moment…the end of my schooling is in sight…though these projects are still moving forward, it will be the focus of those helping me…my focus must turn to my dissertation…

 

            School has taken most of my focus as of late…the class has been Global Supply Chain Management…very much worth taking…this has been split with work on my dissertation…my meeting in Lauderdale went well…I am getting to the point I speak strategy in my sleep…I have residency 3 coming up in West Palm Beach…next to pushing a baby out, this is the toughest thing I have ever done….let’s hope I am as happy at the end (lots of laughs)

 

     The Sunshine Paddle is really awesome…another very successful paddle…it is an amazing thing to know because we are here- children and old people have food along with ‘at risk’ families getting aid…it is really a blessing…we were able to Paddle in the 2016 Florida Cup…constant practice to keep up the muscles…soon I will be in Massachusetts to paddle a friend around the Norton Reservoir…any info or maps would be appreciated….

 

     I love working for Dominos…more than that I love our general manager…she is really a sweet woman…Zephyrhills in the summer is a fun place…as my focus has been in working on my dissertation, this is the only job I have been doing…really at the moment it is all I can handle…

     The gardens and family have both kept me running…the flowers all over the yard have been blooming…Cooper and Helmat have been about living in the pool…we are now a gopher tortoise habitat, currently there are between 3-5 here on any given day…still looking for a vanilla bean orchid and trying to choose for the chickens I will get in August…well, I must go…I will make time again soon…

Make It Count

Merry Meet,

          How are you…it has been a few since we have had a chance to catch up…life here is still crazy for me…this is an incredible journey…so much keeping me on the run…come up here, pour you some tea and put your feet up…we can chat for a few…

          American Boudica Publishing is in heavy production mode…3 Hub Pages are close to release, the children’s video is around the mid-point…really kind of neat as we have reversed our process for this – Chris is creating the images and then I will add the text…we also have a surprise guest that will read the story, just so cool…the budget video is still at the mid-point, the camera broke and I had to buy a new one (geek-Pro)…so it should be completed soon and on YouTube…

          Nature’s Power and Energy has stoked the fires of innovation…we are still awaiting full patent on the HydroQueen but, have started working on Project Phoenix…I have had Alex and Chris working on design parameters as we get ready to put together a prototype…this is really what I like to do, invent and produce…

 

         Girly Pirate’s Lunchbox is now coming into focus…we are preparing to open the first store in September of this year, here in Florida…we will be in 2 countries in three years and 5 within 5…food budgets, uniforms, recipes, décor, protocols and so much more…town, county, country rules and regs…I have chosen my starting staff or managers already…this is a lot of work but, well worth the effort…

          D’s Detail has been working several high-end models of cars…the BMW we just worked on took 8 hours and came out beautiful…the new leather products have proven really great to keep in stock…the Navigator that was brought in last week was detailed to back North…took 14 hours but, you could see your reflection- really cool…Our loyalty program states if a person gets 5 details (does not have to be on the same car) the sixth detail is free

          Girly Pirate Designs has been adding new product to the stores…Chris will soon be handling the art show in Sheffield…Rose has been keeping the jewelry flowing…I am really so blessed…we have also stared to stock inventory so, if you cannot find something please ask we may have it on hand…

          D’s Vacation Project is a new fun effort…we will soon be opening rental properties along the west coast of Florida…these will be set up clean and quiet retreats…it has been interesting to hunt for such space…finding just the right space and decorating to host others has had my mind on creating an experience…I am so glad Alex has talked me into this

          Girly Pirate Adventures’ are 2-5 day adventures around the west coast of Florida…with my dissertation, I have had to do much research and in doing so found many cool areas where the Pirates lived and played…due to working on the paddle, I have found many cool things to do that people do not normally hear about…both have opened my eyes and I would like to share that with others…a percentage of each adventure will go to aid battered women of the community they are held in…

          American Boudica Productions has found sights to shoot the small business video and we have worked a deal for distribution with Amazon…several people have offered to help and this is only making this more amazing…really grounded input has been super beneficial too…

          In the Circle of Boudica, we had a great Ostara…and Beltane quickly approaches…I will be having a bonfire…I am trying to see how far I can go before we welcome summer:)

          School has been busy as I have been taking a class on Technology in Business…this is a tough class but, one worth taking…a good teacher and a tight study group are worth a million dollars…I will be going down to Ft Lauderdale to speak to a professor about my dissertation…less than 6 months to go…YEA!!!!

          The Sunshine Paddle is gearing up…the new kayak that was donated has been a Godsend…We have named her ‘The Shamrock’s Avenger’…due to changes at GoDaddy we had to restructure the website…on 4/20/16, Bri and I will be on the Sunshine Paddle…we will leave Hudson Beach at 8 am and paddle thru to Anclote River Park…this is a 25-mile paddle so, currently we are training heavy and obtaining pledges…

          Domino’s has been a constant learning curve…working for them while I build my brand has taught me how to and not to manage product, people and given me realistic thoughts about what I want from usable spaces and project budgets…dealing with trucks has also opened my eyes to distribution and franchising…I have stopped doing Lyft as it became too had to get paperwork done and I was not getting enough work…Uber is having issues with dropping pay and legal problems with Tampa at the moment and I cannot afford to be involved with that, so am on a leave of absence…

          The gardens are enjoying the ability to grow a little wild…being so busy my time in the yard has been limited…it is a blessing how beautiful the blooms are this year…I am looking for a vanilla bean orchid and an orange tree…really considering getting chickens…Walter will soon be building my raised beds – really happy about this…

          Glad you brought your suit…we put the pool up last week…the grandson has already had me in it…if you download the BloomSky app from the playstore you can find my weather station under Coop…Dad has the mowers ready and the first cut of the lawn has happened…Walter is construct Roman Awning Shades for the front yard…it is getting to be that time of year again

Leapin in the New Year

 

Merry Leap Year,

            How are you…I know I have not been around since December…yes, I know you think I will work myself to an early grave…stress brings on bouts of building, in this case I am building my way to a happy retirement…here is all the News that is fit to print

 

American Boudica is a busy place…the budget video will be released on YouTube on the next few weeks, the color coded calendar…we have several new Hub Pages and Academic Papers to be released in the next 60 days…a video on starting a small business is now in production- this will be the first disc in a series of 10…the next book in the Boudica series is being discussed…it really is neat to be part of

 

            Girly Pirate is getting ready to open the store, travel center, convenience lunchbox, and currently looking for property to put it on…so much going on…scouting trips, shopping trips and planning take my every free moment it seems…I am blessed with such a wonderful crew, not sure I could do it without them…I will keep you posted

 In Nature’s Power and Energy, I am feeling frustrated…the patent is still not released yet and it is really starting to jerk my chain…I am ready to move forward and the next project is calling my name…yet, I am still waiting for this…watching TV you think a patent is easy to obtain- I am at 4 years into it and about $50,000, NOT EASY…that is just for the patent not the testing…I am not discouraged, just a little disappointed

            Its all in the Detail…yes, it is…my crew is doing excellent work…when the cars are done they look ready for a showroom…Prices start at $50 and takes a minimum of 2 hours…the results are a well-polished vehicle…I think this is from a love of cars…

Dominos has been busy…I am still working for Uber and Lyft too…when a marketing push is needed, capital has to come from somewhere…working a lot now, will hopefully pay off later…these jobs have gained me knowledge of not only the Tampabay community but, also her people…insight to community needs can make me a business person more responsive

            School has been going well…I just finished Global Management Strategy with Professor Eggartsson…fascinating subject…I am now in Global Business and Technology…so far so good…I am ready to focus in on my dissertation…this is not going to be easy…when I get a pin point, it seems to move or maybe it is my brain that moves…

The Sunshine Paddle has been exceedingly busy…2 Notch called and I had to go…the trip down crystal river always makes me smile…we are up to the third donation drop of the year…Tomorrow starts the donation drive for the paddle…we will leave Hudson at 6 am on 4/20/16…will you join us???

            So happy to be chosen to be a weather station…took the grandson to the dirt track on SR52 and had a great time at the races…Summer will be here soon and we will have plenty of time…I know that you miss me…I miss you too…I am gaining in age and must complete a few things before I get too old…thank you for understanding…yes, dad will be tending the gardens this year…it is almost time for the pool too…life can be good if you are willing to work for it...

Closing 2015

 

Hail and Good Day to You,

            Thank you so much for taking time to sit with me…it is hard to believe the year slipped by so fast…so much has been accomplished, it really is amazing…if you have a minute, we can see how far we have come…great…let me get my book….

 

            In AmericanBoudica we have released several academic papers both for sale and for free…2children’s books…held several gallery showings in the Sheffield…speaking engagements in Florida…we came out with Hub Articles…we have also published several videos…it was a very busy year and I was blessed such really wonderful people to work with…

            As the Girly Pirate, my crew has been fast at work…we have designed our own shirts and have added to both graphic shops…many of my friends brought me pictures to help us create our art…we added Jewelry by Rose…built up new marketing…we have been selling out of inventory as soon as it comes in…in 2016 we will be opening a store front…watch us grow

 

            At Nature’s Power and Energy, we built the HydroPrincess…we climbed a mountain of RED tape to finally get to the controlled environment test…we have had to defend our patent and rework plans to specifications…finally we got to do the controlled environment test at Inglis, this went better than we could have hoped for…we prepare to start work on our next project and 2016 we will be moving into the new offices…

            D’s Detail has opened…it is now on twitter…A clean car is a happy car and a car is happy when it gets detailed regularly…this has been a lot of fun and I am really happy with the quality of the work…by taking our time the finished product sparkles

   Uber has been a constant source of amusement…from the 4-week background check to meeting the community…I have seen more the Tampa Bay than I ever conceived of…it has also provided a stable source of income while I push forward…Lyft has also been fun and I am glad I joined…it is a good way to make extra money

            In school, another successful year has passed…I have begun work on putting together me notes to bring the dissertation together…residency was hard work but, it was also a lot of fun…2016 will be my final year in school…I am so surprised I made it this far…it is a great deal of work but, I am glad I came this far…

 

            The Sunshine Paddle raised and distributed over $12,000 in cash, goods and services this year…we made our final donation drop to the Helping Hands Food Bank of food and toys…we sold the Blue Horizon to a young lady who raised over $50,000 to clean a river…with a kayak and a paddle we can change a community and make it a better place…I am blessed with amazing help in accomplishing these goals…Thank you all…

            This has been a good and productive year for all of those in the Circle…though none are rich all are happy and fed…as Yule comes upon us, what more can be asked for really…I am grateful for a good year- not easy but, good…on the 21^st we will be setting off several paper lanterns and a bon fire…

            I promise it will not be long before we have time to chat again…Yes, I promise to have more news of the planned Pirate adventure…we are also working on controls for the global classroom…yes, I am now delivering for Grub Hub and Dominos too…it is crazy but, I can make it work for a while and then I will be able to cut back…I will be cooking Christmas Day if you want to come by…

Crazy, Smiling and Exhausted

 

Merry Meet,

It is happy I am, to see you…it is still crazy but, starting to get back…I have been laughing a lot as it really seems to help me not notice how exhausted I really am…a few more months and I will have time to relax- I promise…let me catch you up

 

At American Boudica we are excited to announce our new children’s coloring book due out on 12/4/15…it has been a labor of love…Chris’s artwork begs one to break out the crayons…we have also published new academic work through both amazon and academia.edu…it is a priority of ours to share the knowledge and the joy of reading...we also just came out with our new mosaic video 'Endless Summer' was just released last week- how cool life is really :)

 

 

The GirlyPirate brand is gaining…we have been looking for a brick and mortar shop…we have some bigger works of art and wish to have direct sale of inventory…so we are choosing to expand beyond the internet…it is exciting to watch this grow…

Nature’s Power and Energy is also in forward motion…we are still working with the patent office…if one does not have a good deal of patients or cannot be flexible, plan on paying a lawyer to do this…Alex has been a big help…it is my hope that it is released soon…in the mean time we have heard from a consortium from the UAE who would like to invest in us…we are discussing this possibility and seeing where it leads…Chris and Alex are aiding me in putting the proposal together…We have produced the video of the HydroPrincess spinning during the controlled environment test:

D’s Detail has been busy…a clean car is a happy car…even my Uber/Lyft Car looks great…it amazes people how I can handle so many people and my car looks so awesome…I use product like Meguiar’s and Morthers…Prices depend on condition and size of vehicle…

 

Driving for Uber has been fun and I get to meet a lot of interesting people…I do offer water and candy…I like people to feel relaxed while in my car…I work day shift…it takes me all over the state and to some interesting places…Lyft is a newer company to the area…I do drive for them when I have time…it too has taken me to some really cool places…

 

In school I am half way through the Global Financial Management Class…the professor is Dr. Simon…she really brings the subject to life…deep thinking about foreign currency and exchange, really interesting…my dissertation subject has been approved and now I have to submit my prospectus…so off I go agathering and seeking information….global sales of aquatic animals

In the Circle we are soon to celebrate a feast of giving thanks at Yule…are you thankful…do those you are thankful for know how happy you are in their life…it is important to show gratitude to those around us…

At the Sunshine Paddle we are up to our 15^th donation drop…we have the next 2 scheduled for early December…how very cool to put together 20 ways to help my community in 12 months… which meets and exceeds our goals for the year…I feel very privileged to be part of this… we recently had to bring Yum Yum to her home and we were sad to see her go…we are very thankful to all of those who have made this so awesome…I will be going to see 2 Notch soon and Fred has also been calling…I promise to bring back Pictures

 

My days are running from 16-20 hours 7 days a week…this will be this way for another 6 months- then I will be able to cut back some…a couple of upcoming events…through my dissertation research, I have marked where Pirates have been…I am putting together an Adventure Package…3 days in the sun, walking and kayaking in the areas that Pirates saw…many of the areas are still untouched and worth seeing…I will keep you posted…the other thing is I am thinking of is Ubering my way up the coast…I do not know if this is possible but, it is a thought…I will be working the Uber on Thanksgiving…Walter will be cooking for mom and dad…so, stop by as I am sure they would love the company
