Entrepreneurial Vibe Going Strong

Merry Meet,

How are you doing…I am well…since we are headed for the end of summer, there is so much going on it is hard to know where to start…it is a brave new world and I am willing to take it by storm…I find that I am becoming parent to a few companies…I am never alone- those who work with me are the best and because of them, I have the ability to move mountains…

American Boudica has been a hive of activity…the new children’s coloring book has begun and it is exciting…we have been working on a new mosaic hub page in the USA and a painting hub in the UK- this is really exciting…we are soon to release 3 new videos…I love the production end of business…

Girly Pirate…this has been unique place to be…we are creating alliances…our product lines will soon be sold on 4 continents…this is not easy to set up and involves a great deal of paperwork…our inventory has been rotating…the art has been selling out quickly…T-shirts have been selling out too…if you want something let me know and I will put it up for you when the order comes in…

Nature’s Power and Energy  is celebrating...YEA!!!! Our permit was issued…Controlled Environment Test is a go at the Inglis Bypass October 5-7 (Unless weather prevents)…we are so excited- there have been 2 dry runs with the equipment already…Our application for patent has been published…it will not be long and we will have the patent and the research to back it up…this has been four years of hard work and around $100,000. to this point…it takes the tenacity of a pit bull to get things done but, leaves one with the feeling of inspired amazement...

My new class is called cross cultural negotiation and so far has proved really interesting…I love it when a class puts me into a deep state of thought…when I got into the doctoral program, I had an idea of what I wanted to do for my dissertation…even when I have tried to move away from the subject, it draws me back in…I find myself most inspired by Porter, Kim and Mintzberg and how companies can operate on a global level…I have added several papers to academia.edu on business and they are free...

Dorraine’s Detail has taken on new clients...we will soon be on twitter to make it easier for our clients to reach us…one lady said to me ‘now I understand what you mean when you say– it is all in the details’…she brought me an SUV that had not been detailed in a while…it left here bright and shiny clean…I love to make people happy…I also have a great love for cars:)

In the Global Classroom we are starting to collect students and build the businesses those students will work at to learn by practice along with theory…this is an interesting situation…along with building the 2 companies, I will be building a business program for the students and dealing with the State Dept. and local commerce dept. to get everything operational…

Currently, I have another new business getting ready to start…it is not time to go into depth about it yet…I know you feel like a kid at Christmas…hang in there, I will make it worth it…smile and know it goes ‘beep beep’….

In the Circle we are in a race to get as much wrapped up before Mabon on the 21st as I would like that to be a celebration week leading up to my 50th birthday on the 26th…we will celebrate the work and be thankful that we are blessed…

The Sunshine Paddle has been busy…Donation Drop 10 went to the Shelter…it was all about the babies…bottles and toys for the crib…Donation Drop 11 went to the Helping Hands food bank and Donation Drop 12 went to the shower Atonement holds for single soon to be moms…though the area has been flooded, we have been able to get a few workouts in…the currents have been really strong...the birds follow me out into the gulf and back, really kind of funny...

My gardens are still flooded but, have produced some amazing blooms…The tiger lilies have been beautiful…the ginger is still in bloom and the cactus seems as though it is ready to put forth more big flowers…Chole and Quinty have been house bound and are ready to go running…Mom and Dad are visiting my brother…Walter is doing better and helping when he can…life keeps moving…Well, I am glad you stopped by

Blessed Be,

Rooney Unlimited- Try to hold on…

Hello,

I hear ya…I understand you are upset because I have not made time to hang out…sorry your upset but, so much has been going on it has been hard for me to keep up…I have a few minutes now, let us sit and chat…

Let me first ease your mind…the surgery went well…I did not tell anyone until the last minute because, I was afraid and could not deal with the chatter of others…the cysts were all benign and I am healing…a few more weeks and I will be as good as new…thank you for the prayers and love…

American Boudica has been a busy like a beehive…the new HubPages, Academic Papers and an art exhibit at Old Market Gallery, Keppel's Warf,  Rotherham has been fun…we are working on the new children’s coloring book…we are soon to publish a men’s blog and Chris is giving a go at a blog too…we are about to apply to be part of the Rattle Snake Festival…I will keep you posted

Girly Pirate has been a highly productive space too...we love our new banner…we are building inventory for our next few appearances…we are looking to get into importing some unique products… still attempting to create more global graphics- any pictures from your area or that you took on vacation, that you do not mind giving away are always helpful…we are creating a story teller video- how a mermaid sees the world, if you have a picture you would like to add to this please send it in with your thoughts…due to safety concerns, our speaking engagement for EPNG has been canceled- since the speech has already been created we will be looking for another place to give it…

Nature’s Power and Energy has been paperwork heavy…getting ready for controlled environment testing has required several permits and presentations…it is all paying off as we plan to be in the water soon…being so close we are starting to prepare for sales and production…again we are doing new paperwork for the Patten office to add to what is already there…this is not a fast process but, it is a cool one…

School is going well…I currently in strategic management and have Dr. Parsons- really groovy…residency went really well…Ft. Lauderdale was beautiful…I got to see many classmates and burned my brain out in class…I am closer to the bulls eye of my dissertation…I have worked so hard- this dream will come true

All in the Detail opened up last week…it is my vehicle detail shop...it was so cool to hang the banner…we clean cars, trucks, SUVs, boats, jet skis, RVs and equipment…price starts at $45 and 2 hours is the least amount of time it will take…this is by appointment only…if you have questions please contact me (813)907-6279

Global Classroom is a new venture…since I have degrees in Massage, Natural Medicine and Business, several months ago Chris and I started putting together class curriculum that can be taught in classrooms around the world…we have been approaching different colleges around the world with our idea of how it can work…in this the professor will teach students in different countries with live feed and the internet- this can even work in brick and mortar classrooms…it also allows for professors around the world to work together…so far I have 3 other degreed professionals willing to professor these classes

In the Circle of Boudica, it has been a hard month…flooding has been hard on many…we have been blessed to be able to help…thank you to those who pitched in and made it possible for everyone to be dry and fed…giving thanks for prayers answered

The Sunshine Paddle has made it’s 9th donation drop…Pastor Scott was happy to get the package for children of all ages…book bags for school kids…toys for the tots who have to wait in the food bank line…we also put crib sheets in for upcoming baby showers for indigent mothers…we are trying to get Yum Yum fixed so, we can get her back to Cathy…we are so thankful to her for allowing us to use the Kayak this long- it has been a big help…we plan on making an appearance at the Rattle Snake Festival…

Not much garden news to speak on as all of my beds are flooded…it is kind of neat to see how many flowers like to bloom when the water is high…my seashell ginger is loving life…dad is upset because with so much rain we cannot mow as often as he would like…welcome to the jungle…lots of laughs

Blessed Be,

D. Cooper-Rooney

The release of the new children’s book has been magical…a page fix had to be put in and the first 50 are now collector’s items and the new ones are now on the market…we have also released another academic paper…bringing big concepts to the public allows us to help the community to grow with us…we look forward to starting the next Boudica Chronicle and we have already begun our children’s book ‘Ayden the Scientist’…

The Girly Pirate has been busy…a complete update on the website…our addition of jewelry in our Etsy Store…the update of our graphic files in Spread Shirt and Zazzle…we have also expanded into Hub Articles our first one was about kayaking and the second was making figures…the Ft. Lauderdale trip will be fun and we will be able to bring our stock for others to see…a new banner has been ordered for our events and to be placed outside the office…really kind of cool…

Nature’sPower and Energy has been working for using the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway…we have been through DEP, SWFWMD and State Parks and Rec…now we are before Bureau of Natural and Cultural Resources…please keep sending positive energy and we will be in the water with data soon:)

In the Circle we celebrate the bounty of work produced…on August first we will be hosting a pot luck bonfire…a celebration of life and summer…green purple and yellow candles…this is a day to bless others…so who have you blessed today???

The Sunshine Paddle has been so busy…we made our 6th donation drop to Pasco County Parks and Rec. in the form of a video…our 7th donation drop was made to State of Florida Parks and Rec in the form of a data video…our 8th donation drop was to Sunrise of Pasco, they got a new crib and toys…we also worked hard to produce a video to be used as a survival and training tool…I am proud of everyone who worked on this…we would also like to say Good Luck to crew member Britney who is going on a River Trek:)

In school it has been busy…I made it through Mixed Method…now I am in Strategic Management with Dr. Greg Parsons…I recommend him as an instructor…he is smart and funny but, he will bring out the best in you…Ansoff, Mintzberg and Porter are a challenge to the brain but, well worth learning and studying…next week will be residency…I am excited to see my friends and professors

The grandson has been enjoying the pool…Dad has been working in the garden again this year…mom will soon be off to the Longaberger Bee in Ohio…Walter has been recovering after his hospital stay…I went for a simple exam and got rushed into surgery…due to insurance, I will not be able to get the other half of the surgery until the 31st…this has been keeping me quiet for the last few weeks…it is kind of painful but, I am okay

I promise to take lots of pics in Fort Lauderdale…I hope to get to Gumbo Limbo while I am there, it would be nice to see the turtles…I hope I at least get to see the beach for 5 minutes this year…well honey, I need to go pack…come see me when I get back

Summer is Here

Merry Meet,

How have you been…it (as always) has been busy…so glad you took time to come see me…so much has changed since last we spoke…grab you a drink, come sit and we can chat…feel free to fill a plate and relax…

Due to several speaking and video engagements at American Boudica, the coastal trip has been moved to the fall…we have also added on to our art exhibition in the UK and hope to be speaking of an American date soon…the children’s book is so cute, I can hardly wait for it to be released...we will also be adding new academic papers…we are putting together the inventory that will be available during speaking engagements…

The art from Girly Pirate has been great…we have several different series- travel, Boudica, digital art, Girly Pirate, photo art, etc...I love the quality of the product and design that Zazzle provides us with…I am so blessed…our newest series is the 'Captain Chris' Comic Covers...we have blown up several in poster size...this is just way too cool...

NPE has found a new location…it is called the Inglis Bypass Dam…we worked hard on the presentation and I am hopeful…still interviewing electricians and looking for one who is a good fit…we now have the unit and are finishing the outfitting of it while we await a response from the state…

In the Circle we are working to the Summer Solstice…candles of red and yellow…it lands on June 21 this year…a pool party and fireworks will be better than a bon fire…I will also try to get some fresh blooms planted….

At Sunshine Paddle it has been a busy month…donation drop 4 was to the shelter…we gave money, water, goodies for the shelter, goodies for shelter workers and tools for police…then we went to the Blue Springs Park in High Springs to make an appearance- OMG so beautiful…it was then time for our fifth donation drop and this one went to the Helping Hands Food Bank…here we brought money and as they had just been stocked with food by the postal carriers, a bag of treats for pets…The Blue Horizon was sold to Britney who will be using her on a 100 mile river paddle for charity…how cool is that…

School has been a challenge but, I have a great professor…I am in a research class about mixed methodology…it is quite interesting…I am thinking this is what I will use in my dissertation…I am focusing in on strategy…it is neat to see it narrow…I have got my hotel and am excited for residency this year...it will be a good time in Fort Lauderdale

Mom and Dad are now home…my grandson has been taking me to the pool…we have been enjoying the birds…The yard has been full of cardinals and king fishers…the cactus has been blooming for about a week…the yard has been sprouting the oddest flowers I have ever seen…really neat…Debby has been up visiting…

Well sweetie, it is that time again…I must set up the fireworks…yes, I will be excited for Helmat to see them…come by later if you want to watch…I am glad we had this time:)

Spring Break!!!!!

Merry Meet,

It has been a long few weeks…so much has happened…I spent a few day wishing the world would slow down so I could jump off…all irons were in the fire and the flame was on high…

American Boudica is wrapping up our art exhibition in Sheffield, England, UK…we are excited about the children’s series and Chris has done some really neat drawings…booking the trip up the coast has had us jumping…not only the show but, also inventory…so much to do…

Girly Pirate Designs has been jumping…with me tied up, it has given Chris space to create new work for us…The great pics I have been able to get and process have added to our work too…the new products should appear online tomorrow- this is so cool :)

Nature’s Power and Energy has been busy scouting a new location for our project…no time to cry over spilt milk…we are seeking a green electrician…the unit is finished built and we need to go pick it up…our executive officer is working at getting us on shark tank…we are even looking at other countries…

Beltane is almost upon us…Walter will have the night off…we will sit and enjoy the bon fire…I am planning a big feast…maybe even some fireworks…should be a lot of fun...

The Sunshine Paddle 2015 was very successful and left me with a whale of a tale…We are still collecting pledges…we are getting ready to make the 4th donation drop of the year along with collected pledges to the shelter and collected pledges to the food bank…we have also started collecting for the holiday drive…

Currently, I am on spring break…this is a much needed rest…the statistics research class was something else…students need to keep in mind that not all professors are great but, all can be gotten through…follow the coarse work and check the subject on YouTube…study buddies are a great help too...just keep going and be as positive as possible...

For the first time in 15 years my bird of paradise bloomed…I had never seen or even heard of one with a white bloom…the yard seems to be blooming all over and in the brightest colors…the mini tiger and fairy lilies have been blooming like crazy…so cool…

Dad got to go hang out with the baby girly pirate and her brother…my grandson has been busy with his friends…these kids are growing up so fast and seem to be on the move constantly…when did I get so old…lol…

Well honey, I am tired and there is much to be done if I want to take Beltane off and hang out…I am glad you came to see me…if you can think of any venues to help with the August trip let me know…

Blessed Be,

Dorraine
