Merry Meet,
How are you doing…I am well…since we are headed for the end
of summer, there is so much going on it is hard to know where to start…it is a
brave new world and I am willing to take it by storm…I find that I am becoming parent
to a few companies…I am never alone- those who work with me are the best and
because of them, I have the ability to move mountains…
American Boudica has been a hive of activity…the new
children’s coloring book has begun and it is exciting…we have been working on a
new mosaic hub page in the USA and a painting hub in the UK- this is really
exciting…we are soon to release 3 new videos…I love the production end of
business…
Girly Pirate…this has been unique place to be…we are
creating alliances…our product lines will soon be sold on 4 continents…this is
not easy to set up and involves a great deal of paperwork…our inventory has
been rotating…the art has been selling out quickly…T-shirts have been selling
out too…if you want something let me know and I will put it up for you when the
order comes in…
Nature’s Power and Energy is celebrating...YEA!!!! Our permit was issued…Controlled Environment Test is
a go at the Inglis Bypass October 5-7 (Unless weather prevents)…we are so
excited- there have been 2 dry runs with the equipment already…Our application
for patent has been published…it will not be long and we will have the patent
and the research to back it up…this has been four years of hard work and around
$100,000. to this point…it takes the tenacity of a pit bull to get things done
but, leaves one with the feeling of inspired amazement...
My new class is called cross cultural negotiation and so far
has proved really interesting…I love it when a class puts me into a deep state
of thought…when I got into the doctoral program, I had an idea of what I wanted
to do for my dissertation…even when I have tried to move away from the subject,
it draws me back in…I find myself most inspired by Porter, Kim and Mintzberg
and how companies can operate on a global level…I have added several papers to academia.edu on business and they are free...
Dorraine’s Detail has taken on new clients...we will soon be on twitter to make it easier for our clients to reach us…one lady said to
me ‘now I understand what you mean when you say– it is all in the details’…she
brought me an SUV that had not been detailed in a while…it left here bright and
shiny clean…I love to make people happy…I also have a great love for cars:)
In the Global Classroom we are starting to collect students
and build the businesses those students will work at to learn by practice along with theory…this is an interesting
situation…along with building the 2 companies, I will be building a business
program for the students and dealing with the State Dept. and local commerce
dept. to get everything operational…
Currently, I have another new business getting ready to
start…it is not time to go into depth about it yet…I know you feel like a kid
at Christmas…hang in there, I will make it worth it…smile and know it goes ‘beep
beep’….
In the Circle we are in a race to get as much wrapped up
before Mabon on the 21st as I would like that to be a celebration
week leading up to my 50th birthday on the 26th…we will
celebrate the work and be thankful that we are blessed…
The Sunshine Paddle has been busy…Donation Drop 10 went to
the Shelter…it was all about the babies…bottles and toys for the crib…Donation
Drop 11 went to the Helping Hands food bank and Donation Drop 12 went to the
shower Atonement holds for single soon to be moms…though the area has been
flooded, we have been able to get a few workouts in…the currents have been really strong...the birds follow me out into the gulf and back, really kind of funny...
My gardens are still flooded but, have produced some amazing
blooms…The tiger lilies have been beautiful…the ginger is still in bloom and
the cactus seems as though it is ready to put forth more big flowers…Chole and
Quinty have been house bound and are ready to go running…Mom and Dad are
visiting my brother…Walter is doing better and helping when he can…life keeps
moving…Well, I am glad you stopped by
Blessed Be,
D. Cooper-Rooney
