Mice, Men and the ability to Adapt

Merry Meet,

It feels like ages since we have had time together…as with the flux that is life much is changing…the pod has been busy…things are starting to swirl after the new year and I am a little tired…it should start paying off soon…some of our plans have been adapted to suit changes that have been thrown at us but, I am blessed with a crew that can accommodate almost anything…

American Boudica currently has a few projects on the books…Rose has been taking the jewelry to craft fairs…Chris has been requested to bring the art to exhibit it in the UK…2 books are in the works – 1 children’s and 1 on driving…there is also a huge focus on the upcoming lecture…the presentation is in process of developing…tickets and posters are now being printed…it is really coming together nicely…

Nature’s Power and Energy is doing battle trying to get the patent out of the patent office…this is very frustrating…there have been so many setbacks with this…I wish we could just finish…it is holding up our other projects and making everyone upset…though at times one feels beat down, the more important thing is to pick up and move forward…no one said it is easy, if it was everyone would have one…it took a few hours but, I was able to complete the taxes on my own, YEA!!!

Rooney Detail is busy…tax season is when people tend to trade in lease cars…here in Florida it is important to the paint to keep the pollen, dust and bugs washed off all year round…the team is doing really great work…even with a few rain days everyone has been happy…wash, light detail and wax $50 special…

Rooney Media is breaking in new equipment and new staff…the projector screen and projector have arrived and we are working on understanding how they work and all of what we can do with them…the gopro and all of its pieces are a horse of a different color…the amount of knowledge and effort that goes into make the video…it has been a learning curve

Girly Pirate has been an adventure over the last few months…we were getting ready for a North East Lecture Tour when things got crazy…with the new contract requirements, we plan on being in New England in May…our first seminar, “A Pirates Story: Life, Business and Adventure of the High Seas”, is coming together well…it will be March 27 at the Quality Inn in Wesley Chapel…clients will be given tools to help them in business and building blocks of critical thinking at every level…several global vendors have pitched in to help…there are only 40 seats and tickets will go on sale March 1…this will be an amazing night

The time for the Sunshine Paddle is growing closer…we are getting ready to do a donation drop…we have been practicing at Anclote and Weeki Wachee, the pics and video have been great…the animals have really been enjoying us…it is so funny to watch them preform, dolphins are natural dramatic actors and manatee are comedians…

My dissertation is working…slow plodding research…it is not just about the material but, also the rigor of the references…so much to understand and think on…each journey into the depths of academia is different for everyone…I am working in the procurement section of the global supply chain…at times I feel as though my brain is bent

The Circle of Boudica has been a beautiful place to be…Imbolc has just passed…we cleaned out the house, time to get rid of old energy and make room for new…we celebrated with a fire and setting off Chinese lanterns…we are planning new raised beds to celebrate Beltane and maybe even some chickens to bring in energy of love and nurturing…

So as you can see, it has been an ocean of work to ride the wave of fun…the family and garden are well…I am glad you took the time to hang out…I hope to see you at the seminar or maybe out with me on the water…

Your Captain,

D
