Merry Meet,
How have
you been…it (as always) has been busy…so glad you took time to come see me…so
much has changed since last we spoke…grab you a drink, come sit and we can chat…feel
free to fill a plate and relax…
Due to
several speaking and video engagements at American Boudica, the coastal trip has been moved to the
fall…we have also added on to our art exhibition in the UK and hope to be speaking
of an American date soon…the children’s book is so cute, I can hardly wait for
it to be released...we will also be adding new academic papers…we are putting together the inventory that will be available
during speaking engagements…
NPE has
found a new location…it is called the Inglis Bypass Dam…we worked hard on the
presentation and I am hopeful…still interviewing electricians and looking for
one who is a good fit…we now have the unit and are finishing the outfitting of
it while we await a response from the state…
In the
Circle we are working to the Summer Solstice…candles of red and yellow…it lands
on June 21 this year…a pool party and fireworks will be better than a bon fire…I
will also try to get some fresh blooms planted….
At Sunshine Paddle it has been a busy month…donation drop 4 was to the shelter…we gave money,
water, goodies for the shelter, goodies for shelter workers and tools for
police…then we went to the Blue Springs Park in High Springs to make an appearance-
OMG so beautiful…it was then time for our fifth donation drop and this one went
to the Helping Hands Food Bank…here we brought money and as they had just been
stocked with food by the postal carriers, a bag of treats for pets…The Blue
Horizon was sold to Britney who will be using her on a 100 mile river paddle
for charity…how cool is that…
School has been a challenge but, I have a great professor…I am in a research class about mixed methodology…it is quite interesting…I am thinking this is what I will use in my dissertation…I am focusing in on strategy…it is neat to see it narrow…I have got my hotel and am excited for residency this year...it will be a good time in Fort Lauderdale
Mom and Dad are now home…my grandson has been taking me to the pool…we have been enjoying the birds…The yard has been full of cardinals and king fishers…the cactus has been blooming for about a week…the yard has been sprouting the oddest flowers I have ever seen…really neat…Debby has been up visiting…
Well sweetie, it is that time again…I must set up the fireworks…yes, I will be excited for Helmat to see them…come by later if you want to watch…I am glad we had this time:)
Blessed Be,
The Girly Pirate
