Hot and Sunny in The Chapel

Hello My Friend,

How are you? I am happy to see you. The heat has started to climb already. Have you been keeping an eye on the fluids and air pressure in the tires in your car? During such high heat things tend to have holy break down batman…lol

The massage business has been picking up. My handouts seem to be working…YEA! I hand them to people I would not mind having for clients (for every 10 clients you might get 1 bad one= great return). I do not put them on cars or in mailboxes or in Laundromats…for every 1 good client on those flyers, you will go through 10 bad…hardly worth the effort. I have been so relaxed with life; My Billy Holiday CD is 120 minutes and the clients love to hear it when I push play because, every session has run over by 15-30 minutes (no I do not charge if I go over). My receptionist Dale has been having a flum trying to help with the Sunshine Paddle…it is great to have friends who have your back;)

School is going well…I really find this class interesting…how cool that so many people are over 70 that we need a class on the nutrient needs of it…how far we have come…how far we have yet to go

American Boudica has been working very diligently on The Sunshine Paddle…all art and text have been focused on preparation of the forthcoming trip…we feel blessed to have the opportunity as to help so many with this event…

The Circle of Boudica is a blessed place…I do not care what color you are…I do not have to believe everything you believe in, to believe in you…I do not care who you call God/Goddess as long as you take the time to make the call…I have been inspired at the love shown to all here…this week I will start to gather and create my herbal medications…the colors have been so strong…I am sure the tinctures and powders will be excellent…After a beautiful waterside offering, Walter made an excellent feast of fish for Lugnasadah…if I had not said it, I am thankful you choose to have me in your world;)

Okay…I hear ya…you want to hear about The Sunshine Paddle…as you all know many years ago I was beaten…in these troubled economic times peoples nerves are frazzled and more often it erupts in violence…cut to these programs can cost lives…at the end of the trip all moneys not used by for the trip will be given to the shelter…I am at a unique position in my life that allows me the ability to hazard such an undertaking…the kids are grown and the grandchildren are not quite here and hubby supports me…the side effect is education…I will have pictures, video and gps that can be followed…a good math teacher could get a term on time and distance alone…an English teacher may have the children contrast the website as opposed to the cartography of John Smith…science teachers will have plants and animals…since I belong to NO political party or major corporation, my unbiased eye will show the condition of the coast…when I am done, all equipment will be split between The Florida History Museum and The Smithsonian Museum…for future generations to learn from…

I lost 25 pounds and started working out at Honeymoon Island in the water, yoga and stretching at home…not to mention running after 4 dogs…lol…I have started sending our letters requesting sponsorship…though I am good at writing, I am not good at proposal writing…so many are reaching out to help and I want to take time to say Thank You…the love and support is VERY appreciated…several people have asked how they can help…we are currently looking for camping and kayaking equipment…if you have stuff you are not using or if you find someone who wants to donate, please contact me…if you live near one of our landing spots…you could meet us with food;) or paddle with us to raise money for your local shelter (I will sign paperwork for anyone who does this)…any donation is greatly appreciated and on the website we now have a cash donation button or maybe you know a smal business that would like to be a sponsor…Chris Bilton has Done some beautiful prints for the event…Bank of America set us up with an account…it just seems a never ending amount of work, that’s okay I feel up for the challenge;)

Pull up a chair over here by me…I have the fan on high…I am so happy you talked me into servicing the a/c this spring…I am going to hate my electric bill, but it is cool in here;)

In Massage this week, I have been swamped…Clients are great as always…medical massage is something you really have to have a passion for…I work with MS, MD, Cancer, Bone Degeneration, RA, Cardiac Care Therapy…I just took a 12 hour class given by RJM…it was a good class…reminded me why I do what I do…through massage I have the ability to give people a better quality of life…I also populated some new flyers and asked friends to help pass them out…because hookers like to hide in my profession, it makes marketing HELL…though you maybe happy when you leave my office…I DO NOT DO HAPPY ENDINGS…some asked why I do not do adverts on the net…for every 1 good client I get, there will be 15 who think my job is to jerk them off…someone else asked why not the local paper…from there, every one client I pull, I get 15 cops who try to get me to jerk them off, so they can take me to jail…either way it’s a freak show and all I want is clients so I am trying to ask friends to help

In school this week I finished Algebra…YEA…I honestly thought I was going to flunk…my lawyer said we all have to take algebra to be humble…this class was very hard and I worked very hard for a C…I am feeling quite proud…the teacher was AMAZING…I will be starting a class on nutrition for seniors tomorrow…should be quite cool…

At American Boudica Publishing we got the Sunshine Paddle website up…Chris did some great artwork for this…we have also started to put together book 4…Dave is working on chapter 2 of his book…I got a chuckle from him when he told me ‘this writing thing is not as easy as it looks’…No, really…you don’t say…lol

Cooper has the yard in hand again…mom is home…they are running to keep up with friends and get everything at home straight;)

The animals and gardens are quiet during this relentless heat…we have had rain daily for the gardens…due to bacteria from the heat, I change the dogs water every few hours…for the same reason, I sweep and mop 2x a day

Thank you for all the prayers for baby Zach…In the Circle of Boudica, I have seen my congregation give up so much healing energy…I feel very lucky and blessed to be surrounded with such wonderful loving people…Aug 2, we will be celebrating Lugnasadah…it is kind of a pre-harvest holiday…it is a time of family gathering…it is also the time for proposal…hmmm…I wonder who the wedding bells will ring for this year????

Sunshine Paddle is moving toward our goals…we are working up maps and stops…I have also been scanning craigslist.org and freecycle for the supplies we will need to make the trip…we will start ocean workouts next week as I have lost enough to start toning up…I was so excited to get the site up…Chris has been doing all of my editing…if you find any problems please e-mail him…

FOOD HEALTH ALERT!!!!!!

I have heard people say lately that lettuce and celery are not worth eating…HELLO, IS THIS THING ON (said while knocking on someone’s head)…both are really great for several reasons…celery actually gives you more nutrients when it is juiced…it also takes more calories to eat raw than you will intake…maybe it is not celebrated or sexy like a banana or an orange, but it has base nutrients that belong to it alone…even cooked it gives us nutrients…lettuce is made of mostly water…that is true…the nutrients from it you can get elsewhere…why should you eat it…in today’s world of oversized food it works not only as a filler to help keep us from over eating crapp, but also as a digestive aid…also note the nutrients from both are readily absorbed by the body…something to think on

I am glad you came to see me…I hate to go, but I must turn the a/c on in the massage room for my next client…yes, on days like today I miss my pool too…I will get one next year after my journey…

I am happy to see you…I see you got some color…summer seems to be going well for you…

Massage has been slow, but steady…I am working with several new pathologies and find the muscle structure quite interesting…

American Boudica Publishing is working in the background putting together the up coming trip…upon my return we will be releasing 3 books (Boudica, Children, Health)…at the moment, all energies are making sure we get the trip together and get me home safe;)

In the Circle of Boudica, I must ask for your prayers for baby Zach…he is back in the hospital and the doctors are having a hard time getting the feeding tube in...he will be going into surgery in the morning...he also has been diagnosed with pneumonia;(

The Menu…I have been having oatmeal or scrambled eggs or poached eggs or raisin bran or total with a banana and an orange…welcome to breakfast…lunch has been my large meal…chicken parm. or veal parm. or flounder or cod with 2 veggies (summer squash, zucchini, spinach, carrots, green beans, etc…), if I have a starch, this is when I have it…Supper…this is a light sandwich or salad or bowl of soup…I miss food, but have lost weight in a healthy way with NO pills or shots…really needed to cut back on soda so, I added 2 glasses of water and 2 of natural juice…before I allow myself a soda, I force myself to have the water and juice…I have lost weight and I do feel more energy…I just really want to eat food instead of what food eats;)…I will be ready to make the trip…

The gardens are a sea of color…we have been getting some much needed rain…flowers are popping up everywhere…mowing the yard is now up to twice a week...I am glad dad is home to work in the yard with me...

The dogs have been enjoying the increased amount of exercise…Chole has been enjoying the doggy pool….Quintus feel in the fish pond…he was so freaked out, it was cute…Chewy has been training them both, very sweet…

The website for the Sunshine Paddle is now up…training has been started…we have started gathering needed goods…plans for road and kayak being made…a lot of work;)



So as you see, I’ve been busy…

The Sunshine Paddle

I fear in my last blog I may have dropped a bomb and I see you are back to talk to me…so lets talk


The trip is going to take me from Bulow Creek State Park in Ormond Beach, FL on May 15, 2012 to Old Orchid Beach, Maine…it will take between 30 and 60 days, depending on weather, as it will be done by kayak on the coast and thru the intercoastal water ways also…We have named this trip The Sunshine Paddle

My first goal is to raise money for Sunrise of Pasco Abused Women’s Shelter…donations directly to Sunrise will give you a tax break (P.O. Box 928, Dade City, Florida 33526/ Contact- Trish)…the money to help these people is needed…so many cuts in the state and federal have been made…women and children in danger could be left there and end up really hurt or dead…I was lucky, when I needed people to help me get away from the abuse, I was blessed with the ability to get the help I needed…the trip is approx 1450 miles…if everyone who thinks I am crazy pledges a penny a mile…My charity should do well;)…It will bring safety to families in need…

The side effect is education…due to the fact our business men (politicians) think they went to teaching college, our children are suffering for it…though my children are grown, I feel very strongly about education…I will take video, pictures and post blogs…with GPS, my progress will be able to be tracked…Chris and I are setting up the website with GoDaddy.com…I will also work with teachers from around the world as I can, so that they can set up class projects…since this trip will happen between May and July…I will take e-mail from now until March 29, 2012 then again 2 weeks after my return…I will work with any research facilities or colleges that may need samples, pictures and or video… we will have current eastern seaboard cartography


I have talked to people the whole way up and somebody has kayaked each part overlapping another…so why, is it crazy that one person does it all…I am working in training and diet at the moment…I need to build endurance and lose weight…When this started I weighed approx 200lbs and before I start the trip I will be down to 140lbs...I am blessed with 2 personal trainers, a good doctor (Dr. Casanas) and wonderful education in nutrition...I am not taking pills or getting shots...I am eating lots of veggies, eggs, fish, chicken and fruit...yes, I still have red meat (it is just really limited;/)...Uncle Ben's brown rice, Barilla protein pasta and veggie pasta if I have a starch...OMG...this is not food...its what food eats;)...as for supplements, I am a 45 yr old woman and take daily...1cc of sub-lingual B complex...1cc sub-lingual D complex...Alpha Lipoic Acid 100mg...Acidophilus...COQ10 200mg...I also drink 8oz of fresh Pomegranate and Orange juice...this is a safe diet plan to lose weight...I am only allowed a light work out as I want to lose fat and not tone it...I will keep you posted...no I do not take a multi-V...with so many fruits and veggies it is not needed...I take fish oil 3 days a week...Vit. E only 1 day a week

This is also taking much planning, free hands are always welcome…we are currently looking for sponsors and are willing to accept gifts to help with the trip…I am willing to test products and write reviews for the company or the public...all hands on deck, please join the insanity

I am glad you stopped by tonight…I have so much news…I am so excited…life has turned again and in a good way

Massage has been inspiring…the clients have been great…everyone this week went over by at least 20 minutes…I do not charge extra when I get lost in the muscle and go over…so the clients were quite happy;)

In school, Algebra…well, it is my feeling God gave us algebra so we would learn to laugh at ourselves…I will be lucky to get a high C and will have worked very hard to earn it…I did a 5 page paper that was quite cute;)…I have inserted the abstract for your enjoyment…

‘Abstract- In this paper I intend to take the reader on a wandering trip through the ancient world and explore what we can clearly see today was the roots of math. It was done with a brain, no new age fancy instruments and yet angles, functions were done with such precision that they still stand today. Come climb aboard my magic leaf and we will explore it together…’

I am glad you are sitting down…I have spoke to the rest of the inner circle and now, we need to talk…on May 15, 2012 I will be starting a journey…I will travel from just north of Daytona Beach, FL and travel by kayak to Portland, Maine…it should take between 30-60 days…I have not lost my mind…I will have a gps and you will be able to track me…I have started to work with a trainer…she is excited and is thankfully not charging me…our goal is to raise money for Sunrise of Pasco Abused Women’s Shelter…yes, it is a bit to absorb...I would love to hear your thoughts...Chris and I have started planning...Rose and Walter have been keeping our feet on the ground;)…we will talk about it more in the next blog

Coop will be back on Sunday…Tris got a new dog…Maggie is a cocker spaniel…Walt is recovering well from his concussion…Dansir has been working quite a bit…it seems like everyone is on the move

With the recent amount of rain the gardens are looking beautiful…it does make me sad to walk out and see no pool…Walter has taken some beautiful cuttings for me…we are germinating date palms, pomegranates and the bird of paradise plants

The dogs have been sleeping in front of the fans in the heat;)…I heard from the woman who took the gliders, they just had babies again…the cat is shedding a ton

‎90 Day Notice

I have thought long and hard about the upcoming election in 2012…

Over the last year, I have been watching many different formats and venues for who I would like to elect…I do not want my next president to be a politician…much like the last few, I feel it would be a waste of our time and money…look at who the democrats are offering…Obama again…really…he has not been able to do much except spend a helluva lot of money vacationing, while the rest of the country hit poverty levels unseen since the great depression…has anyone thought about the pathetic healthcare bill that has now been found unconstitutional and is costing us millions, mean while no one (even those with insurance) can afford healthcare…not to mention NO JOBS…do not misunderstand me, I am proud to be American and will kill or die for any president as it is my duty and I am a woman of honor…I am just greatly saddened by feeling helpless as we run like a freight train at becoming a third world country…what I have seen offered by the republicans is not much better…Romney fucked up Massachusetts…why, really would I want him for president…Bachman shows up just before the election and wants in…Hmmm…can we say tardy to the party…I love Sarah Palin, but she has been trashed too much in the public eye



I am an Independent voter…I got this way honestly because of my high school teachers…I was taught to choose the right man/woman for the job…parties only had their own concerns at heart, not so much the good of the people

First…I had to sit and think about what I really wanted and expected from a president…what do we the people need our elected official to do…

1) WE NEED WORK

2) If I can not watch a ‘Winston Cup Race’ or the ‘Bush Grand Nationals’ because of the message to children…I want ALL prescription medication taken off my TV…kids do not need to be prescription drug addicts either…we are the ONLY country in the world that allows such adverts

3) Kids need education…music, art, PE are all parts of that and should be supported…we need to raise children not criminals

4) The words I want to hear and see preformed are work ethic, duty, honor…it has been a while since the White House has seen any of those

5) Legalize pot…I want to see real criminals in jail…alcohol is legal, which on so many levels is much worse for the body…in several countries they have proven wrong the propaganda that we were always fed on this issue and I am tired of paying to house some guy in jail on such a stupid issue, while another teacher gets laid off

6) Criminals and Cops do not need to be TV stars…NO more reality TV ride alongs with the cops…NO more TV cameras in the court rooms…baby killers, child molesters, rapists and murderers’ should not be where children can see or hear about them…not to mention how many people end up depressed over the issues...

7) The FCC again needs to step up its game…ethics seems to be a big problem anymore (remember George Carlin and ‘the 7 things you can’t say on TV’)…cable or not…why is Hollywood not paying fines…if you want to buy a ‘playboy/hustler package’…I have no problem…it should not be part of regular cable though…cussing to cuss is wrong…prescription drugs being pushed is wrong

8) Healthcare is in a sad and horrid state in this country…workers should be allowed to get national licenses…the federal government needs to do better than double talk so the insurance companies can be even more greedy, they need to give Medicare a fair and impartial price list…I will stop here as I could fill a page with my thoughts on this issue

9) Presidents are only allowed pension for 5 years after they leave office...only 2 vacations a year, no more than 7 days each...etc



I could go on, but would not want to bore you…after thinking on this and so much more…I had to think about who could really accomplish these goals…who would be like Roosevelt and place the country before himself or his needs…who could man/woman up to the plate and do what is RIGHT and not just what is easy…



The First thing that comes to mind is Donald Trump…Hold On…I do not want him for president…I would not want to bruise his ego, but I want him for Vice President…He is a very important man…he would still need to run the world of Trump and to ask him not to would be rude (he would lose way more money than we could afford to pay him as president)…I think it would be AMAZING to have someone such as him to help the president though…also if anything happened to the president he would be able to step in with NO problems…in my life, I have seen this man lose everything and come back stronger than ever…he would be a HUGE asset to getting this country back on its feet...great guy...even though he has exwifes...he has taken good care of them and his children...says a lot about who he is...

For president, I have 2 men in mind…funny, both are Alaska fisherman…both are moral and have done well by their respective families…both already have money so greed is not a big factor…both have proven to put the best interests of those around them first…both have been in the media quite a bit



My first choice you already know, but have not paid attention…his family became famous because of his wife’s Vice Presidential nomination in the last election…he is Todd Palin…he is a quiet man, but OMG is he the real deal…good business man…am I ever sure he could deal with other countries, he already does…as an Iron Man competitor (Alaska winner), he understands humility…he puts up with Sarah (a strong woman who has been put through the political wringer) and the media…which shows he has strength and patients…the media has already dished the dirt on the family…he also thinks deeply before he acts or speaks…and his wife is aware of what a slip is for and how to use it...They would make a great First Family

My second choice many of you watch on Discovery…Sig Hansen of the Northwestern…again a tight family man…over the last few years we have seen him learn some hard lessons and make tough choices…I have to admit, his stable path has impressed me…he is not afraid of work and not about to take crapp…I really feel he could put the moral back bone back into this country…I am sure Edgar could captain the boat while Sig sat in The White house…he has proven already that he will do what is right not just what is easy (on and off the boat)…here too we would have a great first family...

If you have better ideas, I am listening…if not I will write in my final choice of one of the above as I need to vote for who is right…not just who is popular…I want the country to belong to the people again and I do not think we can do it by putting anymore politicians in the job…the greed factor is just way too high and it seems the day they take the oath they forget who put them and why they are there...

Sugarcoating Hell

Good Day To You,


Sorry for sounding so terse…I am in a great deal of pain...I have 1 broken and one cracked tooth…my jaw is swollen and I look like I have been in a prize fight…I am on antibiotics…the dentists here in Florida are outrageous in their prices…I want both pulled…I could see $250-300…the cheapest I could find was $800 (this did not cover any anesthesia…not even Novocain)…so I have been trying to get into the welfare dentist…nearest appt is 10/24/11…I have been calling sick call every morning



With only one massage client this week, it really makes it hard to pay the bills…I am trying to stay upbeat…reading and trying a lot of new ideas…boy howdy, has the face of business and landscape marketing changed over the last 3 years…sadly, I have watched many solo therapists go under as of late or move to another area to get work…



I just finished ‘Intro to Psychology’…I got an A…the class sucked…all they taught was straight conventional medicine, what a bummer…no talk of the Asclepius or of Sir Flinders Petrie or any of the ‘fun stuff from Freud’…our discussion questions seemed to be more for controversy than for psychological endowment and or knowledge…I guess some classes are just required…although since my major is alt meds, I wish they would have let that dept handle this as opposed to gen edu…as then it would be handled with an open mind…this does not mention how insulting the class is to the Pagan religion…not to mention almost ½ chapter of the text goes on about astrology (and not in a good way)…at the end I felt the whole thing was narrow minded tripe…why should I have to learn outdated methodology and thought process…again, some things are required…the teacher and classmates were cool



Yes, it is still over 100f almost every day…we have had very little rain…one of the few storms we did have, threw a bolt of lightening at my pool…split the side and blew the pump…since this is most of the exercise I get (I have foot problems)…I am heartsick…I made over 700 calls to every client I had a file on in hopes of earning enough to replace it…here in Florida so many have been laid off…in 7 days I have had 1 client…until things pick up, I will mourn my pool and pray I do not blow up like a balloon



Chris has been patient with me…though I put the tobacco down a while ago; my writing has been very dark…I think Poe would admire it…so we have focused on the sweet new baby and Chris’s painting, this way I have some positive to outweigh some of that ugly negative energy



My friend Rose took me to China this morning…okay, how odd does that sound…here is how we did it…she found this cool power point…she had e-mailed it to me…I called her to babble about something (probably about Mason) and she had me check the e-mail…we did each slide together…I felt like I was on the ancient temple complex with her off this giant twisty road…I told her it was best we went that way because you could never get me on that tram or the official first ‘government wasted money on this road’ award winner…I had such a good time with her…I am so glad we went



My parents started their second honeymoon last week for their 50th anniversary and so far it sounds like Murphy’s Law is in full effect…mom need surgery on her hernia…the car is having problems…add to that hotel and weather issues….I really do not think it is the trip they hoped for



Walter and I both went through the stomach flu last week…it is horrid…chicken broth, jello, toast with clear jellies, beef broth, crackers…until you can hold food down…then add bananas or oranges or grilled cheese…until you are strong enough for a meal



I have to admit it really bothers me that Brighthouse thinks it is proper to make a baby killer a star…OMG…first Osama…then Whitey…who do you think is next DB Cooper or Hoffa…they are sending troops home…I want the troops back, but where will they go to work…Barak Obama reminds me much of Charlie Christ, at the last minute…when they want to get re-elected, suddenly they remember how to work…I see NO one on the horizon that I would vote for either, which I really find scary…Can you believe people in Bradenton are so very bored they are actually worried about horse poop…seriously…I just can make this stuff up…if you are in Europe please wash your hands and food prior to cooking it and for god sake cook it proper…E Coli is running rampant and killing people over 50 at this point…there is also a new breed of scarlet fever that we have not antibiotic to fix yet…so all over the world please remember the above items



Maybe it’s the heat…maybe it’s the pain…I may be feeling….shall we say a bit female…I am mourning the pool and just depressed in general…I will get over it at some point…thank you for understanding

100 Degrees Fahrenheit (39.77c) and Ready to Rant

I have so many things that I want to speak about…thank you for letting me bend you ear…and no I do not mind if you pick this up and put it down a few times to digest some of its info contained…it is day 45 with no tobacco, could be a but longer...you know me Dale has it written somewhere

Massage has been well…I have been looking for ways to get new customers…if you have ideas (other than craigslist or the newspaper) please e-mail me…Florida is severely economically depressed…I have hopes it will change soon…our new governor, Rick Scott, is working very hard…I have to admit I watch this guy with a microscope (I do not trust him), I also have to admit he has been working to make the state better for everyone…though I do feel he should have done better for the teachers

It has been a proven fact that when money is spent on education in several cultures and societies around the world that crime rates drop and unemployment rates also drop…side note- the culture of the society grows too

In ‘Psychology’ class this week…I have been having a rough time…I do not expect to agree with everyone or have them agree with me all the time…really…what fun is there in life without a little spirited debate…as you know I have walked thru HELL…not proud of it, but it is what it is…many people get angry with me when they can not prove me wrong and get a little crazy…okay…lets understand each other…I am not omnipotent…I have done things wrong so many times and paid dearly…that I now know how to do it properly

As many of you know, I have bounced around and now have friends all over the world…my thoughts tend to run deep…I think of things…the wind that goes into Gahanna every year carries Malaria…Russian storms that effect the UK…how polluted the Ganges is by the time it dumps in the ocean…where in the world are they building new medical gadgets…many years ago I explained to my children that we would be at a global economy before my life is over…I often wonder where we, the United States, will end up in such a case…sadly I think not well unless we put more into education and ethics

In Boudica, we have just received our second installment of the Benuska book…really neat…Chris and I have been posting Mason...he is so cute…I am kind of jealous of Rose as she gets to play with him…being a pond away sux!!!!!

I bought the cheap blue hard plastic pools for the dogs…Chole loves it and like a child in the bath, I have to fight to get him out…just like people, please think of your animals in this extreme heat…I have several fans at floor level…keep the water bowl clean several times a day…keep floors swept and mopped as this will keep down bacteria and fleas…it will also be cooler for them…since I have a tile floor and a way to keep them in the kitchen, I also give them ice cubes…all except Blue love to eat watermelon…I might be the crazy dog lady but, if you are under rubble you pray they come get me

The Circle has been spinning…new births happening every few days…Maggie, Martha, Janet and Mason were all born this last week…we are fast coming to the Midsummer Celebration…what do you have planned? The garden looks tired…the heat is kicking it in the ass…if you have a big freezer you may want to buy a few bags of ice…1-2 bag(s) of ice=1/4 acre grass…I do not recommend it for plants as it can put them in shock, but has been working great on the lawn…also beats huge water bill…I usually water around 8 pm…I mulch heavy at the end of spring…all of this help the garden and your pocketbook too…do not forget to get out there an compost

Walter and I had a great time Kayking in and around Crystal River...I can not wait to take Chole...we had a great time...it was quite inexpensive...we rented from Crystal River Kayak...great people to deal with...it was clean and safe...

Healthcare is a subject near and dear to me…I work very hard to give EVERY client I have my best…I also believe some of the best answers are the simplest and one should start at the bottom and work their way to the top…it is my feeling that as a society, it is something we must fight for…we should not want to be continually be doped up (even if we are in pain)…I want to yell ‘IT IS OKAY TO BE WELL!!!’…it bothers me to see how many people are on what I would call useless prescriptions and their minor illness can be handled with food or some other more natural substance…do not misunderstand me, If I need a script, I will take it, but I prefer to try the least invasive and best acting treatment first…it is usually cheaper and better for the body…you are not being insulting to talk to your doctor…it is what they are there for…he or she should know and understand the food/herb/prescription/treatment that is prescribed to you…if not, I suggest you find one who does

For Boaters or people who live in the hot climate it is time to buy ‘Emetrol’. It works great for sun sick or sea sick. Walter who normally works 3rd shift thought to help me mow the lawn (takes 4 hours in the sun)….the next day he prayed to the porcelain Gods until I got him some, he was sooo sun sick. It is also great when kids get that summer flu. I always wondered why they don’t use this stuff on that ‘Deadliest Catch’ show to help them greenhorn folks…just a thought…anyway...works for chemo and aids patients too

So as you can see my mind goes on hundred directions at once…does it piss anyone else off that they have turned this lame child killer into a TV star…I understand she is Christian…can’t we just send her to meet St Peter early, because anyone who hurts children aint getting into heaven…at a time when teachers are being laid off, what up with this million dollar dog and pony show?


I guess I have been harping on education…my kids are grown and my grandchildren are well taken care of…so you wonder why…the kids in school today, 20 years from now will start running the place…it frightens me to think they will be dumber than a box of rocks…Dave has reminded me that schools must move forward…please help a teacher, a class, a school…money is cool, but time is better…nothing beats investing time in children...if all you can do is soup labels or those pencil point things please turn them into the front office at any school...Dale's neice gets mine for her class...I beg for every teacher in this country...they need help...1 good teacher at the start of life will keep several children out of trouble

Welcome to the Surface of the Sun

How are you…I am here…the 100f degree heat has me cooking…I am glad we have a few to sit and chat…Make a Wish and blow

Yes, I am still a massage therapist…this is a calling put on my heart by my deity and one I must fulfill…I have to admit though, it does at points, push me past the outer limits of Krylon…I had 7 appointments scheduled this week and only 2 completed…each person had good reason, but still it is hard to pay bills when money is slow…I am thankful…at least I had 2

In school I got an A in ‘The Meaning of Health’…this class was something else…not really sure if I mean that in a good way or a bad one…it was all about how the brain effects the body and emotion…great information…did you know that the depressed feeling you get during the flu is not a ‘real feeling’ it is a feeling created by the brain…the brain releases a hormone that makes that feeling when mucus hits a certain level in the body proper…I have now entered ‘Psychology’ class…it is such soft science that often contradicts itself depending on what philosophy you follow so, for me it is usually like nails on a chalkboard…maybe this teacher will make it fun…after looking at the syllabus, she has given us plenty of work

American Boudica has been going over our new author’s, Dave Benuska, start of his book…we are quite happy and excited about this…I have been working on book 4 and Chris on the cover of book 3…he has been on the run with his painting muse…I am also upgrading our publishing software…I have to be honest that poor Rose has had her hands full with Chris and I…their grandchild and my adopted grandnephew is due soon…we are quite like children waiting for Santa…we are thousands of miles apart, but I always feel as though I could run around the corner and have a spot of tea…I am thankful for Walter and Rose for keeping Chris and I grounded;)

In the pool I have had this weird cloud…nothing has cleaned it out…after a month of trying everything under the sun, I drained it…I then refilled it…4 days later and the cloud is starting again…it is a funky looking brown cloud…when I get in the pool it looks like there is burnt butter on the bottom…as my foot hits the floor of the pool it puffs up like a cloud…it does not vacuum, I change the filter daily, add chlorine…I tried different stuff from Walmart, Kmart and Target…The pool place had the same stuff at 3x the price…anyway, here is my thought…all of this stuff in my pool had to be in the air of my yard…pools tend to work as air filters for the air around them…I have often thought of myself floating in natures tea when the water was clean…but, this truly weird…kind of like dropping your hand in a pile of baby powder…well, if you can think of something, I am open to suggestion

The gardens are doing well…I water between 8pm- 7am 2x a week…on June 15th the beds will get their last weeding until August 30…we are already facing high heat and humidity, to weed more than that would stress my plants…the flowers all around the yard have been giving big blooms this year

Mom and Dad are coming up on their 50 year anniversary…that’s a long time to pick up anyone’s draws…I felt bad because I wanted to get them something great, but, money is very tight…they will be going to Maine to see family…I wanted to try to get them a cool cottage by a beach…if anyone has ideas on this I am listening…all I could find was 500$ a week and up…I was hoping I could find someplace that had a couple of weeks, but that was way too high for me

Did you laugh today…did you know a rolling belly laugh (real or faked) that is done for 30 seconds or more will use almost every muscle in the body…if you do this 3x a day for more than 30 days, not only will you see a difference in your waistline, but you will see the start to see several improvements in your own life…keep a journal, positive thoughts and an open mind…bet I am right;) and the best part is that it is all free and done by you for you, so you really appreciate it;)

The Circle of Boudica has kept me running…holidays are important, but at the moment let me speak about life…Being there to help the new ones in or the old ones to go is very important…take time for both…weather they belong to you or not…a smile and kind word mean a lot to those who have nothing…money means nothing to those who need a hand to hold…also there has been a recent outbreak of women killing their children and then committing suicide…before you do something so stupid, talk to someone…though the country is in a VERY sad state at the moment…it will pass…if you really must depart this life, let your children have a try at theirs’…there is NO forgiveness in any religion I am aware of for those who harm children…on a better note…Midsummers is coming up…just a few weeks away…what are your plans????

Today is day 45 with No Tobacco…I am told at some point I will be happy about this…I can breathe a bit better…other than that I am not impressed…it made everyone else happy…

‘plant crack’ and other things

Okay we are going on a long trip this blog…I am feelin a little old school…it seems my life has gone through many transitions and I feel more coming…


Massage has been going well for summertime…I got lost on a woman last week as she had so many knots and we were chatting…thought I had gone about 10 over and ended up 5 short…I gave her money off, but it left me feeling bad…I tend to work without a clock since I usually go over (and because I work for myself) this is no big deal…I just hate getting shorted time and it bothers me to short anyone…I have been looking at banners for my fence as a new form of marketing…anyone had any luck with this???

School is going okay…the information and reading is quite challenging…wish I could say the same for the class…its not gonna kill me, just make stronger

American Boudica Publishing has been shut for a week so we may get our families ready for summer…good weather in England and lack of focus, find us more productive in the yard…we will back with news soon

In the Circle we have welcomed 2 more babies…so far 2 boys and 1 girl…I got to work on one at 2 hours old…so cool…Beltane was awesome…the fire was strange…could have sworn I saw Jeff…purple, green and orange speak of a bountiful harvest

Melissa is heaven sent help in the garden…as I have worked very hard at restructuring the soil…often time developers’ peel off topsoil and replace it with sod…if you purchase property like this or with very poor soil your only option is to compost…working with different covers and plants is good too…even if they die…it makes your soil stronger…a friend gave me some cactus…with time, love and occasional compost…they have grown over the last 5 years…the friend stopped to see me last year and was disappointed….everyone else he had given them to had used miracle grow and the others had grown huge…he called today…winter had killed all of theirs and could he stop and get some cuttings…miracle grow or ‘plant crack’ as I call it- makes plants grow big, but weakens the internal structure…so if you plan to keep the plant in the garden for several years best to use compost...my plants to longer to grow, but are quite strong...

I am now at day 29 with NO tobacco…day 5 without Chantix…little stressed, but doing well…smells are horrid…food tastes awful and I have lost 25lbs…

I had a new friend take his own life…I am sorry the pain in his life was more than his self worth…he is no longer in pain and for that I am happy…things like this really make you cherish those around you

10 deep clearing breaths (in through the nose out through the mouth) will not only help you relax, but also help you add focus to your mind…at times you will need to do more than 10…believe it or not your emotional health is directly connected to your physical health…keeping positive and laughing will aide in keeping you healthy…Did you laugh today?
